I’m secretly typing this the evening before, because by the time this gets posted, I’m at work. Therefore, I see very little. Obviously my computer screen and all that, but beyond that, not very much. It’s late, it’s dark outside, but I can see the street light on the field. The room is also dark. The kitchen light is on, and a small light above and behind me, but they illuminate only enough for me to see my keyboard and just make out where things are around me.
I hear the hum of the laptop and the dull clicking of the keyboard. The clock in the kitchen is ticking. I’ve got no music or TV on, so that’s it. I smell nothing distinctive either. I’ve mostly been outside today so no activities in the house that could produce a specific smell.
I feel the smoothness of my keyboard keys, and the minimal resistance as I press them. The laptop is placed on a cooling stand, and the little upright thingies at the front that prevent the laptop from sliding off are poking me in the arms. That is kinda unpleasant. The laptop, on the stand, is placed on a pillow, which is on my lap. It wobbles a bit as I type, and it’s kinda warm. I feel my head itching occasionally with left over stray hairs ( I shaved it again today). Other than that, I feel an itch on my heel, my eyebrow and my nose…
I still have the taste of today’s barbecue in my mouth, it was delicious 😀
