I was going to babysit the family dog on July 9th when my parents and my mom’s siblings were going away for the day. I ended up not only babysitting Tessa but also Foofer, my cousin’s dog who was staying with my uncle.
We had a beautiful rainbow a week or two ago so of course I had to capture it in one of only a few ways it can be done.
My precious little eh… large furbaby enjoying himself in a dry mud corner.
Mine to be exact 🙂 In a pose so defining of my dad, he’s taking a well deserved break after decapitating my hedge (and the hedge cutter’s power cord…)
A lucky shot of a bee about to feed on my hedge before my dad cut it (the hedge, that is) to more manageable proportions.
My so-called-garden produces some very pretty wild flowers. I have no idea which one it is but I definitely like it.
Swaart Padje – Portrait of a Consumer Society
Shot in June 2008. A view of a path in my hometown that is the favoured route of the local high schoolers to reach the gas pump where they buy snacks during their breaks. On the way back they eat their spoils and usually dump the wrappers and packaging on the ground.
…Fly Away Home.
Which it did, after it had visited that which I could, with some imagination, call my garden.
Two small wooden cats I have. They stand on one of the many shelves in my house and (currently) guard a stack of DVDs. I bought them at a local garden centre that also has some stuff to decorate your home with.
